Twisted Words

Some at fault, some NOT at fault.

Some people in the fandom would twist someone's words to manipulate.

<For example>

Say it is about Mc Donald's. Paul was talking to Steve about his likings of restaurants. Steve wants to get Paul to say he likes Mc Donalds otherwise he could try to make Paul sound worse than what he is trying to actually say.

Paul: I dislike Mc Donald's.

Steve: You are badmouthing Mc Donald's!?

Paul: No. I am saying that I just am not into their food.

Steve: I am done talking to you. *Blocks Paul to go run off to other people and say a different story to them.*

Then Steve could tell other people a story like, "Paul just cussed me out and threw a tantrum about how he doesn't like Mc Donald's!"

<End of example.>

That is the example of someone twisting the other person's words.

Either about Mc Donald's or some other topic, this happens a lot in the fandom online and in real life.
