Truth about Popufurs

There are some Popufurs (Popular Furs) who would care for people enough to try to help them be happy.

Other times there could be a Popufur who would say heartless things or do backstabbing things. Once there is a known face with an image of kind acts, sometimes that familiar person could show up everywhere after backstabbing you or telling you that you are not welcome in the fandom. Some could possibly tell you that just because you wanted to join, does not make you welcome in the fandom.

Yet, the fandom is suppose to be welcoming. However that does not mean a fan should expect hugs, kisses, or personal contacts from someone they just met. 

Then again, there shouldn't be sudden hatred toward someone who joined the fandom unless if they have a reason to be hated on.

There are such things as, bewares, where a fan or furry would post a screenshot and warn other people about the particular individual. 

​

Sometimes when a popufur has an image of kind acts, they could possibly destroy someone's welcoming experience such as making up lies about a certain individual with false bewares and uncontrollable anger.

​

I have met some Popufurs who blew up on me which can lower self esteem. However, some could help you smile with a good positive attitude enough to help you feel welcomed.
